Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Beta Knox (ranked 1746 p4p, 182 weight class) and Makar Vershinin (ranked 1873 p4p, 193 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by Anthrax | Fight Em Till You Can't. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beta Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makar Vershinin !
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vershinin sizes up Knox with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vershinin feints and then cracks Knox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knox down.
Vershinin throws a right hand that Knox ducks under and follows up with a left that Knox also avoids with ease.
Knox swings for the body but Vershinin moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vershinin . Knox does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knox misses with a hook. Vershinin ducked under it nicely.
Vershinin leaves Knox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A countering left hand to the body from Vershinin misses.
Knox shoots in for a takedown but Vershinin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vershinin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Knox eats them both and turns towards Vershinin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Beta Knox has been cut.
Knox throws a body shot but no joy.
Vershinin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Knox has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Vershinin moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Knox! Vershinin continues to tee off on Knox, landing with a left and a right! Vershinin connects with a right hand that leaves Knox sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Vershinin !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Makar Vershinin !
