Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Guthrie (ranked 6922 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Chan (ranked 4895 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Chan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackson Chan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

and Guthrie counters with a takedown into side control.
Chan sneaks out the side door and pushes Guthrie away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Guthrie blocks a head kick by Chan.
As Chan tries to get set, Guthrie tries to push him back and clinch up but Chan manages to avoid the attempt. Chan throws a head kick but Guthrie moves out of range.
Guthrie swats away the attempt to clinch by Chan. Chan wants to clinch but Guthrie slips to the side and Chan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chan misses with a takedown
and Guthrie counters by clinching up. Guthrie with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Teddy Guthrie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Chan.
Guthrie wants the takedown. Chan is fighting it off but Guthrie persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Chan's guard against the cage. Guthrie throws a big elbow that misses. Guthrie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chan's head.
Guthrie stands and steps away. Chan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Chan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Guthrie counters with a single leg into guard. Chan didn't expect that.

A little jabbing left from Chan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Chan wants to clinch up but Guthrie keeps it at a distance. Chan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guthrie as he jumps to the side.

Nice jab there from Guthrie. Chan darts in trying to clinch and Guthrie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Chan wants to clinch up but Guthrie keeps it at a distance. Chan throws a sloppy head kick
and Guthrie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chan's guard. Chan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guthrie. Guthrie throwing strikes from guard but Chan blocks nicely.

Chan is working an open guard so Guthrie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Chan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guthrie swivels and escapes. Guthrie half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Chan misses with a double jab
and Guthrie counters with a left to the body. Chan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Guthrie. A low kick from Chan is predictable there
and Guthrie counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Guthrie gets to his feet - Chan follows without any prompting. Chan wants to clinch up but Guthrie keeps it at a distance. Chan with a lazy takedown attempt
and Guthrie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Guthrie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Guthrie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guthrie managing to control the position. Chan wanted to stand there but Guthrie had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teddy Guthrie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jackson Chan's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Guthrie wriggles free and stands up. Chan tries to clinch and Guthrie counters with a left and a right that stings Chan. Chan jabs Guthrie to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chan has his takedown stuffed and Guthrie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Guthrie lands a big head kick that sends Chan tumbling to the mat! Guthrie takes a step backwards and waves Chan back to his feet - he wants the finish! Chan slips a jab and a cross from Guthrie.

Chan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guthrie sprawls well initially but Chan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. It looks like Chan is going to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chan is just content to waste time from the top position. Guthrie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Guthrie has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Chan looking to pass the guard.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Chan throws an elbow that misses. Guthrie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chan's guard. Nice move by Guthrie!

so Guthrie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guthrie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Guthrie landing some decent shots from guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Chan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chan shoots in but no luck this time.

Chan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chan is trying to keep Guthrie in close.
Chan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guthrie is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Guthrie's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Guthrie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Chan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Guthrie off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Jackson Chan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Teddy Guthrie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that's the end of the fight! Teddy Guthrie showed his dominance in that final round. Well Guthrie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
