Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fred Antunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Birchack!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birchack walks into a left hand.

Birchack on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Birchack takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Birchack falls off balance throwing a combination
and Antunes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Antunes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Birchack gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Birchack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Antunes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Antunes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Birchack takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice straight punches there by Antunes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Antunes.

and Antunes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Birchack shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Birchack has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Birchack there as he acknowledges the shot.
Antunes tests Birchack's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Birchack tries to bum rush Antunes with a series of wild strikes but Antunes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Antunes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Birchack throws out the jab.
Antunes is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Antunes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Birchack sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Antunes counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Antunes throws a lazy right hand but Birchack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Antunes throws a looping overhand right but Birchack ducks down to avoid it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Birchack drops his hands momentarily and Antunes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Birchack misses with a few strikes there.

and Antunes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Birchack takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Birchack misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Antunes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Birchack throws a lazy head kick
and Antunes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Antunes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Birchack momentarily.
Fred Antunes is winning the standup battle so far.

and Antunes counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Birchack walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
