Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Stephenson (ranked 4679 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Paradaiser (ranked 5192 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ronald Paradaiser! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paradaiser dodges the punch combination from Stephenson.

Paradaiser is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Stephenson misses with a double jab.
Stephenson blocks the body kick.
As Paradaiser looks to move away, Stephenson throws a big counter combo but Paradaiser just gets out of the way. Paradaiser scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Paradaiser is predictable there and Stephenson counters with a three punch combo that has Paradaiser backing up. Paradaiser nods at Stephenson to acknowledge the strikes. Paradaiser looks to land a body kick but Stephenson moved away. Stephenson appears to be looking for a big counter. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paradaiser doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paradaiser manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stephenson holds on and takes a little breather. Stephenson keeping moving, preventing Paradaiser from controlling successfully. Stephenson wants to get back to his feet but Paradaiser is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stephenson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Paradaiser has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stephenson is proving hard to escape from.

Stephenson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Paradaiser tries to work over Stephenson's front leg with a kick but Stephenson checks it. Stephenson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Good leg kick by Paradaiser there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A swing and a miss from Paradaiser. Stephenson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Paradaiser will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Stephenson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. BAM! Paradaiser delivers a spinning backfist that drops Stephenson like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

After the fight, Ronald Paradaiser was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
