Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Balagot Liu!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pax shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Liu is trying to defend but Pax finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pax throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pax landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Still in half guard, Pax seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pax seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liu for as long as he can get away with.

Pax has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Pax tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Pax get's back to his feet.

Liu gets caught flat footed, as Pax shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pax looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Pax gets to his feet - Liu follows without any prompting.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Pax moves into the clinch successfully.
Liu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stalling in the clinch from Liu.
Liu tries to stall but Pax uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Liu trying to control the position but instead, Pax has worked for underhooks and has pushed Liu into the cage.
Liu will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pax up against the cage.

Pax has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Liu uses from the top position.
Pax lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Pax stands and steps away. Liu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

It looks like Saonik Pax has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pax shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Pax decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Liu, up you get!
Pax takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Liu cracks Pax on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pax falls backwards against the cage. Liu follows up with more strikes that drop Pax to his knees. Liu keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pax! This one is all over!
