Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yeah Ok (ranked 3674 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frano Norteza (ranked 4375 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeah Ok has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yeah Ok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frano Norteza!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norteza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ok pushes Norteza up against the cage in a clinch.

Ok gets control of Norteza's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ok will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Norteza in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Norteza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ok has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Norteza has managed to get both his arms back between Ok's legs - danger averted.

Ok postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Norteza is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ok, into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ok holds on and takes a little breather.

Norteza should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Norteza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ok swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ok seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ok has his foot on Norteza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Norteza works his way back into a safe position though.

The fight stays on the outside here - Norteza looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Norteza scores with a one two! Ok had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Yeah Ok has been cut.

Ok has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Norteza uses from the top position.

Norteza is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ok is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ok has escaped and now he's on top!

Norteza tries to pull guard but Ok holds him up against the cage and eventually Norteza drops back down to his feet.

Ok is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Norteza's shoulder. That is not cool.

Ok thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Yeah Ok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ok tries to advance to mount but Norteza denies him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ok is staying tight to Norteza's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Norteza tries to clinch up but Ok circles away and keeps his distance.
Ok seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Ok throws a body shot but no joy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ok in side control, just content to control the action for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Norteza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Norteza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ok swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ok darts in and clinches Norteza up against the cage.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ok working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Norteza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Norteza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ok working for submissions but it's allowed Norteza to get to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yeah Ok showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ok, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
