Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Kemp (ranked 577 p4p, 77 weight class) and Leonid Martinyuk (ranked 705 p4p, 95 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Kemp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Martinyuk! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kemp lands with a nice body punch. Martinyuk showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kemp.
Martinyuk throws out a counter right but Kemp avoids it with no problem. Martinyuk misses with the body kick and Kemp counters with a nice kick to the body. Martinyuk swings widly with a right hand
and Kemp counters with a nice uppercut. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kemp ducks right into an uppercut from Martinyuk. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big left from Martinyuk misses. Kemp appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kemp throws a body kick that misses. A slow jab from Martinyuk misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinyuk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Martinyuk misses with a left hand and Kemp counters with a leg kick. Martinyuk looks winded! Martinyuk ducks right into an uppercut from Kemp. Martinyuk throws a right hand that misses
and Kemp counters with an inside leg kick. Kemp thumps Martinyuk with a low kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Kemp. That's going to slow Martinyuk down. Martinyuk misses with a left hand and Kemp counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martinyuk thows a leg kick but Kemp checks it and Kemp counters with a good low kick that Martinyuk was not able to check. Martinyuk smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Martinyuk throws a leg kick that is checked and Kemp counters with a nice low kick that buckles Martinyuk's knee momentarily. Kemp just misses with a punch to the body.
Martinyuk only half commits to the counter leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kemp scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Martinyuk doesn't seem bothered though. Martinyuk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Martinyuk swings away with a leg kick that misses. As Martinyuk looks to move away, Kemp throws a big counter combo but Martinyuk just gets out of the way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kemp takes one to the chin there. Martinyuk takes a swing at Kemp's ribcage but misses. Kemp wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Leonid Martinyuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martinyuk throws an off balance right hand
and Kemp counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Martinyuk throws a hook but Kemp blocks it. Kemp stuns Martinyuk with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kemp jabs Martinyuk to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kemp swings away with a body shot that misses
and Martinyuk counters with a three punch combo that has Kemp backing up. Kemp nods at Martinyuk to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinyuk misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kemp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kemp throws a good cross that connects.
Kemp looks to score with a jab to the body but Martinyuk is just out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kemp scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Martinyuk doesn't seem bothered though. Kemp gets in close and tags Martinyuk with a short punch that almost sends Martinyuk to the mat! Oh Martinyuk is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kemp, trying to create some distance but Kemp rushes him, striking wildly and Martinyuk goes down! The referee tackles Kemp into the ropes to end the fight! Kemp is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Kemp! Ross Kemp was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
