Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maki Pulu (ranked 359 p4p, 46 weight class) and Uzun Ada Izmir (ranked 450 p4p, 61 weight class). Pulu comes to the cage accompanied by Alive. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maki Pulu! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uzun Ada Izmir! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ada Izmir moves out of range of the body kick from Pulu.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ada Izmir! But no joy. Pulu scores with a kick to the midsection. Ada Izmir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ada Izmir not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pulu taking some punishment here, with Ada Izmir in his half guard. Pulu wants to get back to full guard. Ada Izmir is nestled in close to Pulu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ada Izmir sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pulu defending well though. Pulu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ada Izmir. Pulu wants to improve his position but Ada Izmir is controlling well.
Ada Izmir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pulu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ada Izmir lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ada Izmir lands a nice short elbow. Ada Izmir wants to free his trapped foot but Pulu is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pulu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pulu is working hard here to advance position. Ada Izmir wants to control but Pulu is keeping him busy. Pulu gets full guard. Pulu looking for a sweep. Not yet Pulu, not yet. Ada Izmir scoring with some ground and pound. Ada Izmir won't allow Pulu to sweep him here. Ada Izmir chips away with some ground and pound. Pulu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pulu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ada Izmir tries to roll over but Pulu keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pulu wants to pass the guard but Ada Izmir is defending well. Ada Izmir is not content to let Pulu control the position. Ada Izmir works his way to full guard. Good work. Pulu's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ada Izmir looking for subs off his back but Pulu has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ada Izmir looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulu stalling. Pulu is keen to just control but Ada Izmir is a slippery customer. Ada Izmir is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pulu pulls his head out easily. Ada Izmir looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ada Izmir looking for submissions off his back. Ada Izmir looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pulu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ada Izmir defends it well. Pulu trying to control the action but Ada Izmir is working from the bottom. Pulu moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ada Izmir. Pulu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ada Izmir, who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pulu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ada Izmir has escaped the position, nice work there. Ada Izmir tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pulu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uzun Ada Izmir dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pulu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ada Izmir sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pulu tries for a takedown but Ada Izmir circles away easily and Ada Izmir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Maki Pulu has been cut. Ada Izmir connects with a nice looking jab.
Pulu fails with a takedown attempt. Ada Izmir looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ada Izmir has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A jab from Pulu finds it's way through Ada Izmir's defenses. Ada Izmir lands a nice shot that snaps Pulu's head back.
Ada Izmir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pulu. It seemed like Ada Izmir was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maki Pulu. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pulu misses with a lunging right hand
and Ada Izmir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pulu looks to land a left hand but Ada Izmir moved out of range nicely. Pulu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ada Izmir throws out the jab. Pulu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Maki Pulu's cut is getting worse.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ada Izmir fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pulu is out of range. Pulu throws a shot from downtown. Ada Izmir moves away and avoids it. Pulu ducks under a wild hook from Ada Izmir. A head kick misses from Pulu. Pulu misses with a looping right. Ada Izmir looks like he wants to counter punch here. Pulu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Ada Izmir connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pulu. Pulu circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ada Izmir throws a nice outside leg kick. Pulu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ada Izmir moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ada Izmir connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pulu's hands. Ada Izmir tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Pulu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pulu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ada Izmir lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pulu. Ada Izmir pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uzun Ada Izmir! Uzun Ada Izmir is the new heavyweight champion! Uzun Ada Izmir thanked the fans post fight for their support.
