Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Sionis (ranked 2576 p4p, 260 weight class) and I Just Fight And Win A (ranked 3630 p4p, 0 weight class). Sionis has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
And Win A shoots in looking for a takedown but Sionis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing And Win A's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sionis is looking for a counter combo.
Sionis gets caught flat footed, as And Win A shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sionis is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. And Win A presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
And Win A is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sionis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Roman Sionis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of I Just Fight And Win A.
Sionis manages to pull guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
And Win A can't get the takedown.
And Win A is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sionis is defending well.
Sionis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And Win A shoots in and bounces Sionis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sionis pushes And Win A off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Sionis moves into range and clinches up with And Win A.

And Win A dives in and grabs Sionis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sionis pushes down on And Win A's head and hops out.
Sionis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but And Win A manages to circle out of the way.
Sionis rushes And Win A and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sionis lands a good knee to the midsection. And Win A won't want to take too many of those.
And Win A looks winded!

Sionis scores with a knee to the head.
Sionis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sionis stuffs the takedown.
Sionis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
And Win A misses with a takedown
and Sionis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sionis clinches up against the cage.
And Win A wants a takedown but no success here.
Sionis manages to break the clinch.
A combination from And Win A does no damage.
Sionis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but And Win A manages to circle out of the way.
Sionis darts in and clinches And Win A up against the cage.
Sionis lands an elbow inside.
And Win A looking for a takedown.
Sionis manages to pull guard.
And Win A throws an elbow that misses. Sionis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in And Win A's guard. Nice move by Sionis!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sionis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sionis gets to his feet - And Win A follows without any prompting.
And Win A darts in looking for a takedown but Sionis gets double underhooks and turns And Win A into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Sionis dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sionis closes the distance and clinches.
Sionis lands a knee to the body.
Sionis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And Win A falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sionis counters by moving into the clinch.
Sionis successfully pulls guard.
And Win A throws a strike but Sionis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And Win A wants to stand up but Sionis is controlling him.
And Win A is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sionis stands up from And Win A's guard - Sionis perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sionis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with And Win A, pushing him back against the cage.
Sionis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from And Win A.
Sionis lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and And Win A goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Sionis in side control.
And Win A is rocked!
It looks like I Just Fight And Win A has been cut.
Sionis decides to stand back up.
And Win A is still on wobbly legs! Can Sionis finish him?
Sionis darts in and clinches And Win A up against the cage.
And Win A seems to have recovered his senses.
A knee to the head by Sionis.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sionis takes control of his opponent's neck and spins him into the cage. And Win A is off balance and as he stumbles, Sionis throws a jumping knee that lands flush on And Win A's chin, knocking him out cold! Oh my word - what a knockout! Definitely one for his highlight reel! If he ever decides to rob a bank and run off to Morocco, that moment is defintely worthy of a tacky mural!
