Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Steven Kennedy (ranked 3588 p4p, 363 weight class) and Juan Fonseca (ranked 3555 p4p, 361 weight class). Juan Fonseca looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Kennedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Fonseca! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy looks to land a right hand but Fonseca moved out of range. Fonseca misses with a double jab.
Kennedy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Fonseca looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kennedy slips a jab and a cross from Fonseca.
Kennedy fires out a quick counter leg kick but Fonseca just manages to avoid it. Fonseca takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fonseca scores with a jab. Kennedy just misses with a punch to the body.
Fonseca does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Kennedy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kennedy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Crapollas Gym in the buildup to the fight. Fonseca avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kennedy.
Fonseca throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fonseca keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kennedy. Fonseca jabs Kennedy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Fonseca jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kennedy tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Fonseca manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy connects with a solid leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kennedy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fonseca. Fonseca swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fonseca connects with a body shot that sends Kennedy's belly button to the back. Kennedy lands a nice hook to Fonseca's body. Fonseca takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fonseca looks winded! Kennedy connects with the punch. Fonseca takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kennedy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fonseca momentarily.
Kennedy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fonseca has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Fonseca uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kennedy. Fonseca swings for the body but Kennedy moves out of range.
Kennedy cracks Fonseca with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Fonseca is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Fonseca is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Fonseca could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Steven Kennedy! Our winner, Steven Kennedy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
