Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Babinski (ranked 1924 p4p, 208 weight class) and Wulfgar Beornegar (ranked 3580 p4p, 297 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wulfgar Beornegar! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beornegar misses with a takedown enabling Babinski to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Wulfgar Beornegar has been cut. Babinski moves in looking to clinch but Beornegar pushes him off. Beornegar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Beornegar swings and misses with a shot to the body and Babinski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Beornegar has managed to clinch.

Beornegar misses with a takedown and Babinski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Beornegar throws a head kick that misses. Babinski lands a big head kick that sends Beornegar tumbling to the mat! Babinski takes a step backwards and waves Beornegar back to his feet - he wants the finish! Babinski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beornegar doesn't seem bothered though. Beornegar misses with a takedown attempt enabling Babinski to counter with a crisp jab. Alexei Babinski is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Babinski drives through and clinches with Beornegar against the cage.

Babinski digs a right hand into Beornegar's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Beornegar's gas tank. Beornegar is working for takedown but Babinski is calmly controlling the position for now. Alexei Babinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wulfgar Beornegar. Babinski lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Babinski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Beornegar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Babinski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Beornegar is breathing heavily. Babinski lands a left hand that snaps the head of Beornegar backwards. Babinski lands a shoulder strike. Babinski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beornegar.
Babinski stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Babinski lands with a short head shot on the inside. Babinski scores with a shot to the side of Beornegar's head. Babinski lands a hook that snaps the head of Beornegar backwards. Babinski manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Babinski is working Beornegar over against the cage. Babinski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Babinski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Beornegar. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Babinski drops Beornegar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Beornegar looks back up at him and smiles so Babinski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Beornegar is rocked! Beornegar is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Babinski doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Beornegar crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Beornegar's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alexei Babinski! Alexei Babinski retains his heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Alexei Babinski thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
