Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Tropper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tomos Kemp! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Tropper does no damage. Tropper misses with a few strikes there.
A shot to the liver by Tropper. Beautiful body shot. Tropper lands a jab to the head.
Kemp misses with a body kick. Kemp staying out of range there. Tropper misses with the combination.
Kemp lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kemp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tropper circles away quickly and effectively. Tropper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kemp moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tropper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've been told by Tropper's head coaches at The Forge that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Tropper feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kemps jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tropper lands a nice hook to Kemp's body. Kemp takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Nick Tropper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tropper swats away the attempt to clinch by Kemp.

and Kemp counters with a head kick. That will keep Tropper thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kemp has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tropper slips a jab and a cross from Kemp.

And that's the end of the fight! Nick Tropper showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tropper, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
