Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Tull (ranked 6911 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashid Magomedov (ranked 4384 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chris Brown - See You Again Feat. Tyga & Wiz Khalifa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Tull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rashid Magomedov! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tull has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Magomedov. Tull shoots and misses enabling Magomedov to counter with a crisp jab. Tull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tull throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magomedov's waist but Magomedov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tull off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Tull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Magomedov scores with the left hand. Tull knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Shane Tull has been cut. Tull darts in trying to clinch and Magomedov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tull has his takedown stuffed and Magomedov counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Magomedov swings around for an armbar but Tull sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Magomedov's guard. Tull trying to control the position from guard on top but Magomedov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magomedov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magomedov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tull trying to control but Magomedov is working from the bottom. Magomedov wants to sweep but no luck. Tull has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Magomedov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Magomedov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Magomedov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tull defends it easily. Magomedov wants to sweep but no luck. Magomedov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tull's guard. Magomedov is pushing down on Tull's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tull is fighting to maintain full guard but Magomedov has managed to sneak the leg through. Magomedov is taking a breather. Tull says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magomedov is looking for a kimura but Tull is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Magomedov to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Magomedov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Magomedov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Magomedov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tull defends it well. Magomedov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Magomedov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tull has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Magomedov is working away from the top position though. Magomedov is pressing down on Tull's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tull is holding on for now. Tull has hold of Magomedov's hands but Magomedov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Magomedov is looking for a kimura but Tull is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Magomedov to get the leverage. Magomedov is nestled in close to Tull, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Magomedov trying to mount his opponent but Tull defends it. Magomedov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Magomedov.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tull is trying to maintain the position but Magomedov is very close to passing his half guard. Tull is trying to get back to full guard. Magomedov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tull defends it well. Magomedov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Magomedov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashid Magomedov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shane Tull's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Magomedov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Magomedov lands the left hand.
Tull is rocked! Tull shoots in but Magomedov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Magomedov doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Tull falls off balance throwing a combination
and Magomedov counters with a crisp right that sends Tull to the canvas! Magomedov follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rashid Magomedov! After the fight, Rashid Magomedov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
