Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Snus (ranked 209 p4p, 32 weight class) and Jean-Claude Marceau (ranked 151 p4p, 20 weight class). Jean-Claude Marceau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, General Snus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snus throws a jab but it's blocked by Marceau.
Marceau throws a nice inside leg kick.
Snus throws a shot from downtown. Marceau moves away and avoids it.
Marceau throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Marceau misses with a few strikes there.
Snus misses with an uppercut.
Marceau moves out of range as Snus strikes.
Snus throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Jean-Claude Marceau has been cut.
Marceau drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Snus throws a hook but Marceau blocks it.
Marceau drives through and clinches with Snus against the cage.
Marceau can't find room to land a body shot as Snus controls the action.
Snus working hard to break the clinch.
Marceau tries to work over Snus's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Marceau keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Snus's efforts to push away.
Marceau has a couple of punches blocked by Snus.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Snus manages to break the clinch.
Snus has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Marceau.
Marceau lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marceau moves into the clinch.
Snus is trying to force a seperation but Marceau has the dominant position.
Marceau softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Marceau lands with a left to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Marceau.
Snus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A big right from Snus misses.
Snus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marceau.
Snus gets tackled into the cage by Marceau. Marceau maintains the clinch.
Marceau goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A short right from Marceau.
Snus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A short uppercut from Marceau.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marceau breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marceau jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Snus cracks Marceau with a right hand to the side of the head.
Marceau ducks right into an uppercut from Snus.
Snus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marceau takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That has opened up Jean-Claude Marceau's cut even more.

Snus takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like General Snus has been cut.
Marceau moves away from the strike by Snus.
Marceau lands with a good body shot.
Marceau slips under a jab from Snus.
Marceau bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Snus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marceau counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Snus is breathing heavily.
Snus cracks Marceau with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Snus takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Snus is rocked!
Marceau slips under a jab from Snus.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marceau moves out of range as Snus strikes.
Snus throws an overhand right that lands on Marceau's shoulder, as Marceau tries to avoid the shot.
Marceau connects with a body shot that sends Snus's belly button to the back.
Marceau throws a nice outside leg kick.
Snus throws a jab when Marceau was well out of range.
Marceau gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A telegraphed right hand from Snus misses the target.
Snus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marceau.
Marceau lands a big right hand that sends Snus crashing to the mat! Marceau stays standing though and waves Snus back to his feet!
Oh Snus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marceau has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Snus looks to throw the jab but Marceau is out of range.
Marceau appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Snus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Snus bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Marceau comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Snus falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Snus was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jean-Claude Marceau!

In defeat, General Snus stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks for a great match ...next time you going to sleep!'.
