Fitzsimmons stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzsimmons wants it to stay on the feet.

Fitzsimmons cracks Akumba with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Akumba tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Fitzsimmons pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Akumba is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Jim Fitzsimmons tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
