And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sakuma Yanagamichi!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yanagamichi under the eye.
Greer jabs at Yanagamichi's body.
Greer throws a nice outside leg kick.
Yanagamichi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Greer as he jumps to the side.
Greer looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Yanagamichi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Greer pinned against the cage. Greer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Greer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Yanagamichi.
Yanagamichi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yanagamichi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Greer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Yanagamichi is looking to work some ground and pound but Greer has wrist control.

Yanagamichi throws a strike but Greer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yanagamichi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Greer is aware though and is defending well.
Greer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Greer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Yanagamichi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Greer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yanagamichi's body to avoid the submission. Yanagamichi has instead reached around Greer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yanagamichi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
