Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emile Hood (ranked 24944 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walmir Ribeiro De Vasconcelos (ranked 4961 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasconcelos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hood as he jumps to the side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vasconcelos.
Hood appears to be looking for a big counter.
Vasconcelos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hood counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Vasconcelos dives in and grabs Hood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hood pushes down on Vasconcelos's head and hops out.

Vasconcelos is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hood frees his head nicely. Oh but Vasconcelos has switched to an armbar! Hood is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
