The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobrovolskiy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dobrovolskiy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dobrovolskiy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dobrovolskiy throws a strike but Roberts rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dobrovolskiy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roberts gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Roberts wants to stand but Dobrovolskiy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Dobrovolskiy is looking for a triangle but Roberts pushes his legs off easily.
Dobrovolskiy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Roberts uses it to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dobrovolskiy is trying to work for a sweep but Roberts has mounted him!
Dobrovolskiy looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Dobrovolskiy wants to escape the position.

Dobrovolskiy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here.
Roberts doesn't have the hooks in and Dobrovolskiy manages to turn into his guard.
Dobrovolskiy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dobrovolskiy scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dobrovolskiy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roberts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dobrovolskiy keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dobrovolskiy and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dobrovolskiy can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
