The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez sizes up Pikachu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Detektyw Pikachu has been cut.
Alvarez throws a right and a left that Pikachu avoids nicely.
Alvarez misses with a hook.
Alvarez lands a big shot that drops Pikachu! Can he finish him?
Pikachu is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pikachu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alvarez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pikachu is tightening it up a little... Alvarez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Alvarez reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Alvarez taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pikachu!
