Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Rock (ranked 47 p4p, 8 weight class) and Ephram Urani (ranked 33 p4p, 4 weight class). Rock comes to the cage accompanied by I Wanna Rock. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Will Rock!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ephram Urani!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Urani catches Rock right on the button with a cross.
Urani throws a looping overhand right but Rock ducks down to avoid it.
Rock avoids the body shot from Urani.

Rock darts in and clinches Urani up against the cage.
A short uppercut from Rock.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rock.
Urani lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rock backwards.

Urani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rock misses with a leg kick.
Rock avoids the body shot from Urani.
Urani missing with a left hand there. Rock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rock misses with a low kick.

Rock forces Urani back against the cage and clinches.

Urani manages to break the clinch.
Rock tests Urani's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Ephram Urani has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Urani scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rock in his tracks.

Rock lands a nice leg kick that just misses Urani's sensitive parts.

and Urani counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rock ducks under a wild hook from Urani.

Rock gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Rock tried to score with a low kick but Urani checks it.

enabling Urani to counter with a crisp jab.

Rock moves into the clinch successfully.

Urani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rock throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rock tries to clinch up but Urani circles away and keeps his distance.
Rock tries a head kick but it misses.
Urani throws a body punch but Rock moves out of range.
Rock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Urani circles away quickly and effectively.
Rock avoids the body shot from Urani.
Rock wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Urani throws a sloppy head kick and Rock moves out of range easily.
Rock throws a head kick but Urani moves out of range.
Rock bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Urani lands a jab to Rock's midsection.
Rock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rock chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A slapping leg kick lands for Urani.
Rock fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Urani is out of range.
Rock blocks a jab.
Urani misses with a right hand
and Rock counters with a right hand to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Urani throws a sloppy head kick
letting Rock counter with a right hand.

Rock pushes Urani up against the cage in a clinch.
Rock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Urani walks away with a smile on his face. Rock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rock.
The fighters circling - Rock throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It seemed like Urani was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rock darts in trying to clinch
and Urani counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Rock will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ephram Urani's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Urani scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Urani connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rock momentarily.
Urani will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rock fails with an attempt to clinch.
Urani looks to score with a jab to the body but Rock is just out of range.
Rock appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Urani fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rock looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Urani.
A head kick misses from Rock.
Ephram Urani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Urani takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Urani lands a jab to the nose.
Urani throws a shot to the body.
Rock throws a sloppy head kick
and Urani counters with a stiff right hand.
Urani lands a nice looking body shot.
Rock scores with the left hand. Urani knows he should have avoided that one.
Urani jabs at Rock's body.
Rock on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Urani seems to be stalking Rock here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Rock drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ephram Urani!
