Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignacio Zimmerman (ranked 23299 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Davids (ranked 4950 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Ignacio Zimmerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Davids! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davids. Davids shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zimmerman as he jumps to the side. A head kick by Davids misses and Zimmerman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davids won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Davids tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zimmerman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zimmerman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davids on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davids takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Davids manages to get back to half guard. Davids is pressing down on Zimmerman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Zimmerman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Davids wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davids had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zimmerman defends it easily. Davids controls Zimmerman momentarily but Zimmerman frees himself. Davids looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zimmerman is one step ahead there. Davids pulls Zimmerman in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zimmerman trying to control the position from guard on top but Davids is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davids is trying to control the position but Zimmerman postures up. Zimmerman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Davids changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zimmerman tries to avoid it but Davids manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zimmerman to the ground. Zimmerman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Zimmerman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Davids sprawls and moves away. Ignacio Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Davids. Zimmerman darts in looking for a takedown but Davids gets double underhooks and turns Zimmerman into the cage. Davids tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zimmerman defends well and Davids ends up having to push Zimmerman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Zimmerman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Zimmerman controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids wants to sweep here but Zimmerman controlling him for the moment. Zimmerman prevents Davids from getting back to his feet. Zimmerman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Davids is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zimmerman defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zimmerman slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Davids. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Davids is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Davids actively working from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zimmerman wants to work for an arm triangle but Davids is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Davids wants to control but Zimmerman is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ignacio Zimmerman dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Davids rushes Zimmerman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Zimmerman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Davids can do to turn this around? Davids manages to break the clinch.
Davids misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davids tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zimmerman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davids somewhat. Ignacio Zimmerman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown attempt by Davids or perhaps it was just good defense by Zimmerman, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davids shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zimmerman eats them both and turns towards Davids to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Ignacio Zimmerman has been cut. Davids tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davids shoots and misses and Zimmerman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zimmerman. Davids wants to get back to his feet but Zimmerman passes into half guard.
Ignacio Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Davids. Davids is breathing heavily. Davids is trying to control but can't.
Davids tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Zimmerman has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Davids is squirming around, avoiding Zimmerman's attempts to control the action. Davids should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Davids tries to hold on but Zimmerman pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Davids is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davids regains half guard. Davids strikes from the bottom but Zimmerman passes into mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids is desperately trying to improve his position but Zimmerman has a good base and remains in mount. You get the feeling that Davids really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Davids tries to hold on but Zimmerman pushes him away. Zimmerman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davids is just holding on here. Zimmerman manages to take his back.
Zimmerman not allowing Davids to control his hands. Zimmerman is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Ignacio Zimmerman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zimmerman is trying to stick to Davids's back but Davids is turning into Zimmerman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Zimmerman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Davids. Davids showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Davids prevents Zimmerman from getting back to his feet. Davids postures up.
Zimmerman has his hands on Davids's head, controlling the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zimmerman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ignacio Zimmerman will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ignacio Zimmerman's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Davids takes the fight into the clinch. Davids is looking to control Zimmerman's arms but Zimmerman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Davids has his back to the cage. Zimmerman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Zimmerman can't break the clinch.
Davids manages to pull guard.

Davids wants to sweep here but Zimmerman controlling him for the moment. Zimmerman stands up over Davids, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Davids managing to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Zimmerman closes the distance and clinches up with Davids, looking for a takedown. Zimmerman pushes Davids against the cage but Davids circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Left hook, right uppercut from Davids. Davids instigates a clinch. Zimmerman is trying to force a seperation but Davids has the dominant position. Davids drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zimmerman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Davids moves into the clinch. Davids prevents Zimmerman from breaking the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Davids has closed the distance and engaged Zimmerman in a clinch.
Zimmerman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zimmerman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Davids on his heels. He'll look to pass Davids's guard now, I'm sure. Davids pushes Zimmerman off and gets back to his feet.
Davids moves into the clinch. Zimmerman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Davids is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zimmerman pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman is trying to break free. Zimmerman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davids has him pressed against the cage. Zimmerman tries to break free but Davids pushes him back against the cage. Davids tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zimmerman smiles and moves away.
Ignacio Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Davids. Davids rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zimmerman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. David Davids seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davids takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zimmerman drives through with a takedown into guard. Davids working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Zimmerman has passed into half guard!

And that's the end of the fight! David Davids comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zimmerman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
