The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoke darts in looking for a takedown but Pardo gets double underhooks and turns Smoke into the cage.
Nice cross by Pardo.
Pardo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smoke is defended easily by Pardo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toby Smoke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pardo lands a nice shot that snaps Smoke's head back.
Pardo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smoke on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pardo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mario Pardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pardo stuffs the takedown attempt from Smoke. Smoke gets slowly back to his feet.

Smoke shoots in for a double leg but Pardo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pardo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Smoke is rocked!
Smoke fails with a takedown attempt.
Pardo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Smokes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Oh Smoke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pardo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smoke seems to have got his legs back now.

Pardo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Smoke had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Pardo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pardo punishes Smoke's body with a nice straight punch.
Smoke walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Pardo! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
