Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Slaughter (ranked 322 p4p, 16 weight class) and Amanda Nunes (ranked 518 p4p, 24 weight class). Amanda Nunes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Amanda Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter looks to clinch
and Nunes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Victor Slaughter has been cut.
Slaughter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Slaughter fails to land the takedown.
Slaughter shoots in but no luck this time.
Slaughter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nunes.
Slaughter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nunes.
Slaughter fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Slaughter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nunes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nunes swats away the attempt to clinch by Slaughter.
Nunes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slaughter tries to move into range but Nunes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Slaughter moves out of range of the strikes.
Slaughter tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nunes counters with a nice right hand that sends Slaughter toppling to the canvas! Slaughter scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nunes finish him?!
Victor Slaughter's cut is getting worse.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nunes scores with a body shot.
Nunes tries to keep at a distance but Slaughter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nunes lands with a right to the head.
Nunes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slaughters head.
Slaughter tries to pull guard but Nunes holds him up against the cage and eventually Slaughter drops back down to his feet.
Nunes lands a body shot.
Nunes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nunes punishes Slaughter's body with a nice straight punch.
Slaughter is breathing heavily.
Nunes throws a hook but Slaughter avoids it easily.
As Nunes tries to get set, Slaughter tries to push him back and clinch up but Nunes manages to avoid the attempt.
Slaughter tries to close the distance and clinch but Nunes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slaughter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nunes.
Nunes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Slaughter tries to clinch up but Nunes circles away and keeps his distance.
Nunes cracks Slaughter with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Slaughter looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nunes finish him?
Victor Slaughter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slaughter shoots for a takedown but Nunes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nunes thuds a left hand into Slaughter's body.
Slaughter seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nunes throws a lazy right hand but Slaughter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nunes with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Nunes cracks Slaughter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nunes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slaughter to stand back up!
Slaughter is rocked!
Jeez, Victor Slaughter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Victor Slaughter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Amanda Nunes!
