Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Okino Naruhiko (ranked 249 p4p, 12 weight class) and Amanda Nunes (ranked 256 p4p, 13 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Okino Naruhiko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Amanda Nunes! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naruhiko throws a body punch but Nunes moves out of range. Nunes throws a body shot but no joy. Nunes throws the left hand but Naruhiko avoids the punch easily. Naruhiko is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Nunes dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nunes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been hearing reports that Naruhiko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Naruhiko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nunes throws out a counter right but Naruhiko avoids it with no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nunes throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Naruhiko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Naruhiko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nunes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Naruhiko throws a big shot that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A slow jab from Nunes misses its intended target. Naruhiko throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nunes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nunes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amanda Nunes dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nunes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Nunes lands a shot to the body. Naruhiko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nunes walks away with a smile on his face. Naruhiko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Naruhiko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Naruhiko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nunes defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nunes darts in and clinches Naruhiko up against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nunes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Nunes lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Naruhiko. Nunes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nunes will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Naruhiko up against the cage. Nunes working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Naruhiko wants a takedown but no success here.
Nunes gets through Naruhiko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Nunes's coach down at Rīga was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nunes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nunes working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short uppercut from Nunes.
Naruhiko is rocked! Nunes pushes Naruhiko against the cage. Nunes is working some dirty boxing. Nunes pushes off with a quick right hook! Naruhiko goes down! Naruhiko tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Nunes moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amanda Nunes!
