Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Handy misses with a two punch combination.
Handy with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Umm moves into the clinch.

Umm manages to break the clinch.
Handy swings for the body but Umm moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Handy.
A swing and a miss from Handy.
Handy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Umm feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Handy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Handy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Umm doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Handy throws a hook to the side of Umm's head but Umm sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Umm swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Handy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Umm rather than just go for the knockout.
Handy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Umm fails in his attempt to clinch.
Umm ducks under a wild hook from Handy.
Handy cracks Umm with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

It looks like Rect Umm has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Handy.
Handy throws the left hand but Umm avoids the punch easily.
Handy chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Handy needs to keep his hands up - Umm had a free shot at his head there.
Umm doesn't manage to clinch there - Handy circles away.
Umm looks to score with a jab to the body but Handy is just out of range.
Umm doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Handy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Umm avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Handy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Umm.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Umm's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Handy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Handy tries a body shot but Umm blocks it.
Umm scores with a shoulder strike.
Handy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Handy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A left hand lands to the body for Handy.
Handy lands a hook that snaps the head of Umm backwards.
