Batts's entrance music is Midnight City - By: M83. A fine choice. Tanner has chosen Sandy Davidson - The Green Hills of Tyrol as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Tanner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Batts.

Batts lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tanner backwards.

Tanner stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Batts has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Batts sizes up Tanner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Batts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Batts there as he acknowledges the shot.

Tanner lands a big head kick that sends Batts tumbling to the mat! Tanner takes a step backwards and waves Batts back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tanner thows a body kick. Batts tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Oh Batts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Batts blocks the body kick.
Tanner throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Batts stumbling backwards into the cage! Batts bounces back off the cage towards Tanner, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tanner lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tanner celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jason Tanner!
During a confident post fight interview, Jason Tanner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
