Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dai Zexi (ranked 235 p4p, 15 weight class) and Fanta Coco (ranked 494 p4p, 23 weight class). Zexi comes to the cage accompanied by BRADIO-Flyers. Fanta Coco has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zexi throws a body punch but Coco moves out of range.
Zexi scores with a hook to the body. Coco takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Coco throws a leg kick but Zexi moved away.
Zexi throws a big shot that misses.
Coco fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zexi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Coco uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zexi.
Coco throws out a counter right but Zexi avoids it with no problem.

and Zexi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Fanta Coco has been cut.

I was talking to Zexi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Coco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zexi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zexi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Zexi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coco sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Coco cracks Zexi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Zexi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coco thinking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
