Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tsuyoi Kakuto (ranked 2557 p4p, 305 weight class) and Carlos Danger (ranked 2390 p4p, 288 weight class). Kakuto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gorillaz-Dirty Harry. Danger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: George Baker - Little Green Bag. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tsuyoi Kakuto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Danger! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kakuto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kakuto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Danger after a bit of a struggle. Kakuto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kakuto tries for a takedown but Danger manages to get underhooks.
Kakuto gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Danger regains guard.
Kakuto wants to pass the guard but Danger is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kakuto wants to control from the top but Danger keeps moving. Kakuto works a leg free and moves into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kakuto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kakuto seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Danger for as long as he can get away with.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kakuto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Danger has managed to free his arm - good work. Kakuto stops Danger from getting back to his feet.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kakuto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Danger, pushing him back against the cage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Danger gets underhooks to prevent Kakuto's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsuyoi Kakuto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kakuto prevents a takedown attempt there.
Danger is pushing Kakuto up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Danger has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kakuto after a bit of a struggle.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Danger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kakuto has hold of one of Danger's legs. Danger is fighting the takedown attempt but Kakuto gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Kakuto prevents Danger from getting back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kakuto looking to pass the guard.
Danger wriggles free and stands up. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsuyoi Kakuto dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kakuto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Danger but Danger pushes him off and we're back to square one. It seemed like Danger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kakuto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kakuto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Danger is trying to counter with his kicks.
Kakuto forces Danger back against the cage and clinches. Danger wants a takedown but no success here.

Kakuto works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kakuto engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Danger is wriggling around but Kakuto manages to pass to half guard.

Danger pushes Kakuto off looking to stand but Kakuto dives back in and keeps control.
Kakuto content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Danger looks like he's trying to stand up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Horrible takedown attempt by Kakuto or perhaps it was just good defense by Danger, which made it look bad. Danger moves away from the strike by Kakuto. Danger is trying to counter with his kicks. Kakuto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Danger defends it nicely. A little jabbing left from Danger on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsuyoi Kakuto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Danger uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kakuto has time to react.

Kakuto takes the fight into the clinch. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kakuto tries to pull guard but Danger won't allow it.

Kakuto pulls guard effortlessly. Danger must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Danger trying to control but Kakuto is working from the bottom. Tsuyoi Kakuto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Danger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kakuto controls Danger momentarily but Danger frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsuyoi Kakuto dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tsuyoi Kakuto's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Danger looks to land a combination but Kakuto avoids it well. Danger throws an overhand right that lands on Kakuto's shoulder, as Kakuto tries to avoid the shot. Kakuto is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Danger. A swing and a miss from Danger.

Kakuto tightens his grip and picks Danger up, before dumping him to the ground. Danger manages to land in guard. Kakuto stays in close to Danger's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kakuto looking to sit in guard and control but Danger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kakuto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danger swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kakuto looking to sit in guard and control but Danger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Is there anything that Danger can do to turn this around? Kakuto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tsuyoi Kakuto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kakuto wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Danger looking to pass the guard. Kakuto is pulling down on Danger's head. It's preventing any offense from Danger, at least for the moment.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tsuyoi Kakuto. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kakuto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
