Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Daiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios's entrance music is Their Law . A fine choice. Daiva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Rasmus - The Fight. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyson Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lukas Daiva! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daiva clinches up against the cage. Rios has Daiva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Daiva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rios drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rios tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daiva smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Rios. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daiva with a hook.
It looks like Tyson Rios has been cut. Rios tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daiva swivels and escapes. Rios will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daiva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rios paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daiva throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rios stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Daiva follows into mount!
Rios is rocked! Rios is looking to improve his position but Daiva isn't that keen on the idea. Oh Rios is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rios is working hard here to advance position. Rios seems to have got his legs back now. Daiva tries to control but Rios wriggling away. Rios is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rios throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rios is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rios is trying to stand. Rios can't escape the position.
Daiva controlling from the full mount. Rios is trying to stand up. Rios is breathing heavily. Rios is trying to escape the mount.
Daiva looking to control but Rios is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rios tries to lock up and control but Daiva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Daiva working the ground and pound effectively.
Daiva content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Daiva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rios working to try and regain half guard.
Rios is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Daiva looking to control but Rios is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios is looking to get to half guard. Daiva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rios tries to get back to half guard but can't. Daiva content just to control the position here.

Rios feints and as Daiva raises his hands in defense, Rios changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rios decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rios shoots for a double leg takedown but Daiva sprawls well. He's pushed Rios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Daiva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rios goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daiva prevents it.

Rios has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Daiva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daiva lands a nice knee to the body. Rios jumps guard but Daiva stands there with Rios around his waist. Rios gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rios is working for takedown but Daiva is calmly controlling the position for now. Daiva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rios.
Rios has picked Daiva up - he's going for a ride! Rios dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rios wants to pass to mount but Daiva is defending the position. Rios is keen to just control but Daiva is a slippery customer. Rios is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rios decides to return to a standing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daiva tries to avoid it but Rios manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daiva to the ground. Daiva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rios shoots for a double leg takedown but Daiva sprawls well. He's pushed Rios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rios drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rios accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rios preventing the sweep. Rios throws a big right hand that misses. Rios in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rios throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daiva works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rios has gone for a leg lock! Daiva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rios's guard. Rios trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rios doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rios is on top in guard.
Daiva is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rios missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rios trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rios is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Daiva tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tyson Rios will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tyson Rios's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Rios scores with a takedown into Daiva's guard. Daiva wants to sweep but no luck. Rios missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rios thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rios throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daiva works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rios looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rios postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Daiva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rios, into his guard. Rios throws his legs up looking for a submission but Daiva uses it to pass to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rios is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Daiva trying to control the action but Rios is working from the bottom. Rios punching from the bottom.
Rios looking for submissions off his back. Rios has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daiva is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rios punching from the bottom.
Rios tries to get to full guard but Daiva has control of the leg. Rios looking for submissions off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rios. Daiva is trying to control Rios's posture but Rios avoids it. Daiva is trying to improve his position.

Rios wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Daiva, who protects the arm well. Rios wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daiva keeps working. You can see the frustration on Daiva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rios is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Daiva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rios moves into full mount! Daiva squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Rios landing strikes from the mount and Daiva is in trouble! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rios fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Rios showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rios has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
