Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matteo Boretti (ranked 275 p4p, 40 weight class) and Middle Weight (ranked 1004 p4p, 123 weight class). Boretti's entrance music is Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon. A fine choice. The key to victory for Matteo Boretti has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weight misses with a straight right.
Boretti keeps the fight on the outside.
Boretti is looking to counter punch.
Weight tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Boretti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boretti slips a straight right by Weight.
Boretti bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Weight throws a body punch but Boretti moves out of range.
Weight wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weight throws a shot from downtown. Boretti moves away and avoids it.
Boretti swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Boretti lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fighters circling - Weight throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boretti dodges the punch combination from Weight.

Weight rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boretti counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Weight throws an off balance right hand
and Boretti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Weight throws a right hand that misses
and Boretti counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boretti lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Weight looks to land a right hand but Boretti moved out of range.
Weight thuds his right hand into Boretti's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boretti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Boretti avoids the body shot from Weight.
Boretti is looking to counter punch.
Weight is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Boretti is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Boretti displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weight throws out the jab.
Boretti was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Boretti counters with a crisp one two that drops Weight! Boretti thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Weight to his feet! Weight is in big trouble!

Boretti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boretti lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

After the fight, Matteo Boretti was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
