The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Ridley or perhaps it was just good defense by Myres, which made it look bad.
Ridley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Myres counters with a straight right hand.
Ridley clinches up against the cage.
Ridley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Myres prevents it.
Myres lands an elbow that stopped Ridley in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like DeMarcus Ridley has been cut.
Myres lands a shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Myres.
Ridley is breathing heavily.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Myres.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myres lands a vicious elbow to the side of Ridley's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Myres tries to finish him with strikes but Ridley still seems able to defend himself so Myres steps back and lets Ridley get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Ridley is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Myres has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Ridley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Myres throws a massive elbow that rocks Ridley's head back - Ridley crumples to the floor and this one is all over! Not often you see a KO via an elbow but that was a huge shot!
