Savage comes into the arena with Sound of da police! blaring out of the sound system. 41 Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage gets the takedown into side control.
Adensaya tries to bench press Savage off him but Savage keeps the position.
Savage looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Adensaya is avoiding damage well.
Adensaya is not content to let Savage control the position.
Adensaya tries to improve position but can't.
Savage throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adensaya tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Savage presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Adensaya felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Savage throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Adensaya because Savage loaded up on that one.

Adensaya is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
