Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xix Zyx (ranked 3461 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Shin Bum (ranked 24762 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyx comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to Hell. Shin Bum is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The King is Here. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zyx shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shin Bum counters with a nice uppercut.
Shin Bum with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Shin Bum lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Shin Bum cracks Zyx with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Zyx shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shin Bum as he jumps to the side.
Shin Bum lunges at Zyx with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zyx's hand.
Shin Bum lands with a cross.

Shin Bum gets caught napping as Zyx dives in and scores a takedown. Shin Bum manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Shin Bum gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zyx closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zyx lands in his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Xix Zyx will probably get the nod.

Zyx really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zyx tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Zyx is working for a guillotine from mount but Shin Bum frees his head quite easily.

Shin Bum is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Zyx takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Zyx seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shin Bum for as long as he can get away with.

Zyx jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Shin Bum manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Xix Zyx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Zyx has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Zyx stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Zyx takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shin Bum stuffs the takedown.
Zyx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shin Bum sprawls well. Shin Bum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zyx gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xix Zyx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shin Bum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zyx stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A close second round but Park Shin Bum will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Zyx shoots for a double leg takedown but Shin Bum sprawls well. He's pushed Zyx's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Shin Bum has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Zyx is on him like a limpet, forcing Shin Bum back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zyx closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Shin Bum manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Zyx keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Zyx drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shin Bum pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shin Bum digs a good body shot into Zyx's ribs.
Shin Bum looks to land a combination but Zyx avoids it well.

Shin Bum is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zyx.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zyx is looking to advance position but Shin Bum won't allow it.

Shin Bum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zyx. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zyx wants to free his trapped foot but Shin Bum is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Park Shin Bum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

A less than humble Park Shin Bum misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Xix Zyx had this to say: 'Fuck you eceryone i shall return. !!! DROP THE MIC'.
