Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yanji Klushinwa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edison Atunes!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atunes digs a good hook to Klushinwa's body.
Klushinwa fails to land the takedown.
Klushinwa's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Atunes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Klushinwa scrambles back to his feet.

Klushinwa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Atunes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Klushinwa prevents Atunes from escaping the position.
Klushinwa trying to control the position but Atunes is working away.
Klushinwa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Atunes is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Klushinwa content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Atunes wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Atunes swats away the attempt to clinch by Klushinwa.
Klushinwa shoots in for a takedown but Atunes shows good takedown defense.
Klushinwa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Atunes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Klushinwa is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Atunes connects with a looping right hand.
Atunes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A cross from Atunes lands.
Edison Atunes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Klushinwa tries to clinch up but Atunes circles away and keeps his distance.
Atunes cracks a nice hook into Klushinwa's ribs.
Atunes throws a nice head kick!
Klushinwa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.


Klushinwa is rocked!
Klushinwa gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Atunes gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Klushinwa is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edison Atunes!
