The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanagamichi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diame Jr sprawls well initially but Yanagamichi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yanagamichi throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Diame Jr to regain full guard.
Yanagamichi stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Diame Jr throws up his legs and catches Yanagamichi in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Yanagamichi tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Diame Jr! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Dumba Diame Jr!
