The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peil looks to clinch
and Cooke counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Peil is looking to get back to is feet but Cooke passes into side control.
Cooke in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Cooke stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Cooke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cooke appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Cooke drives through with a takedown into Peil's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Cooke is standing up over Peil. Peil looks to escape but Cooke dives into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooke is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Peil is trying to escape and Cooke transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Peil is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cooke! Very nice indeed!
