Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Boom (ranked 3785 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Augusto (ranked 4752 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rodrigo Augusto was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom tries to clinch up but Augusto circles away and keeps his distance.
Boom tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Augusto defends well and Boom ends up having to push Augusto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Boom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Augusto sprawls well. Augusto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boom gets slowly back to his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boom crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Augusto - the referee stops the clock and Boom gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Augusto. Boom manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Augusto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Augusto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boom to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Augusto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boom pulls down on the head and he's put Augusto to sleep! This one is all over!
