Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axel Foley (ranked 4996 p4p, 463 weight class) and Omero Hyuyu (ranked 4419 p4p, 432 weight class). Foley comes to the cage accompanied by Beverly Hills Cop Theme. Omero Hyuyu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley tries to clinch up but Hyuyu circles away and keeps his distance.
Foley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Foley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hyuyu lands a slapping body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Foley as Hyuyu shoots in.
Foley tries to counter by clinching up but Hyuyu breaks away and moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hyuyu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Foley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

It looks like Omero Hyuyu has been cut.
Hyuyu misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hyuyu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hyuyu is trying to break free.
Hyuyu is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Foley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Axel Foley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omero Hyuyu.

Foley using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hyuyu has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hyuyu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foley pulls his leg out and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyuyu shoots for a takedown but Foley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hyuyu is still on wobbly legs! Can Foley finish him?

Foley drops Hyuyu with a big knee straight up the middle! Hyuyu is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Foley stuffs the takedown attempt from Hyuyu. Hyuyu gets slowly back to his feet.

Hyuyu seems to have recovered his senses.
A knee to the head by Foley.
Hyuyu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Foley fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The cut above Omero Hyuyu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Hyuyu tries to keep at a distance but Foley has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hyuyu looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Foley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hyuyu is working for takedown but Foley is calmly controlling the position for now.

Omero Hyuyu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foley pushes Hyuyu up against the cage in a clinch.
Foley jerks Hyuyu's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hyuyu drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Foley goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Foley because Hyuyu was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
