Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piere Dolinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octavian Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Octavian Barca will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Piere Dolinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Octavian Barca!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dolinski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dolinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Dolinski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Barca for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Piere Dolinski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barca looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dolinski has picked Barca up and slammed him! Barca can't keep hold of the triangle and Dolinski manages to pass to side control!
Barca is looking to regain half guard here but Dolinski keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Octavian Barca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dolinski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Barca - the referee stops the clock and Dolinski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Barca. Dolinski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I would just about give that final round to Octavian Barca.
