The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez lands with a hook. Adams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Grizzley Adams has been cut.
Adams tries for a takedown but Sanchez circles away easily
and Sanchez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mark Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez cracks a nice hook into Adams's ribs.
Sanchez drops Adams with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Adams looks back up at him and smiles so Sanchez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Adams is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Adams! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
