And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connor Rollins!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yelnats manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yelnats looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rollins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yelnats .
Rollins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yelnats as he jumps to the side.
Rollins dives in for a single leg takedown but Yelnats sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rollins shoots for a takedown but Yelnats saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stanley Yelnats has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Rollins.

Yelnats looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yelnats lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Yelnats stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Rollins throws up his legs and catches Yelnats in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Yelnats tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Rollins! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Connor Rollins!
After the fight, Connor Rollins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
