Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Hahn (ranked 24026 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xylur Dain Jr (ranked 6158 p4p, 0 weight class). Xylur Dain Jr looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trenton Hahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xylur Dain Jr! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Hahn or perhaps it was just good defense by Dain Jr, which made it look bad. Hahn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hahn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hahn drives through and clinches with Dain Jr against the cage.
Hahn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dain Jr looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hahn! Hahn sneaks out the side door and pushes Dain Jr away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dain Jr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hahn did well to prevent Dain Jr getting side control. Hahn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hahn keeping control of the position. Hahn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dain Jr throws a strike but Hahn avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hahn wants to sweep but no luck. Hahn looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Dain Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hahn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hahn is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dain Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hahn dives in for a single leg takedown but Dain Jr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hahn feints and as Dain Jr raises his hands in defense, Hahn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hahn throwing strikes but missing. Hahn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hahn stands up over Dain Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hahn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dain Jr is working an open guard so Hahn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dain Jr looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hahn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dain Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hahn drives through with a takedown into Dain Jr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dain Jr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hahn stands up from Dain Jr's guard - Hahn perhaps looking for a knockout. Hahn really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Hahn looks for a takedown but Dain Jr sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trenton Hahn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hahn gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hahn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dain Jr's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dain Jr manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hahn keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Dain Jr misses with a punch on the inside.
Dain Jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hahn wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dain Jr manages to pass to side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Hahn is controlling Dain Jr's position as best he can from this difficult position. Hahn wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hahn gets caught napping as Dain Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Hahn manages to retain guard. Hahn trying to control the position here. Dain Jr stops Hahn from standing up. Hahn wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hahn holds on and takes a little breather. Hahn keeping moving, preventing Dain Jr from controlling successfully. Hahn has control of Dain Jr's left arm, preventing Dain Jr from doing any damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Dain Jr is breathing heavily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hahn shoots in for a takedown but Dain Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dain Jr closes the distance and clinches. Dain Jr gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hahn regains guard.

Hahn throws a leg kick that misses. Hahn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dain Jr napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hahn working the head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hahn creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Trenton Hahn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dain Jr takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Dain Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hahn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hahn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hahn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dain Jr can do to turn this around? Hahn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dain Jr's half guard. Hahn winds up and cracks Dain Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hahn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Hahn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hahn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hahn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dain Jr did well to prevent Hahn getting side control. Hahn stands up out of the half guard. Trenton Hahn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dain Jr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hahn kicks off Dain Jr and gets to his feet. Hahn looks for a takedown but Dain Jr sprawls well. Xylur Dain Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dain Jr forces Hahn back against the cage and clinches. Dain Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dain Jr tries to stall but Hahn uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dain Jr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hahn has him pressed against the cage. Hahn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dain Jr throws a leg kick but Hahn sees it coming and moves out of range. Hahn quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Dain Jr pushes Hahn up against the cage in a clinch. Hahn jumps into guard, dragging Dain Jr to the mat.
Dain Jr would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hahn has Dain Jr pulled in close to control his posture. Hahn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hahn is pulling down on Dain Jr's head to control his posture. Hahn wants to sweep here but Dain Jr controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dain Jr clinches with his opponent.
Hahn pulls guard. Dain Jr throws an elbow that misses. Hahn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dain Jr's guard. Nice move by Hahn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hahn gets to his feet. Dain Jr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hahn has his takedown stuffed and Dain Jr counters with a big head kick but Hahn shrugs it off. Dain Jr swings for the body but Hahn moves out of range.
Hahn has managed to clinch.

Dain Jr leaves Hahn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hahn gets tackled into the cage by Dain Jr. Dain Jr maintains the clinch. Hahn misses with a body punch.
Dain Jr has hold of one of Hahn's legs. Hahn is fighting the takedown attempt but Dain Jr gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Dain Jr throws an elbow that misses. Hahn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dain Jr's guard. Nice move by Hahn! Hahn postures up in Dain Jr's guard and throws a big left but Dain Jr blocks it. Hahn chips away with some ground and pound. Xylur Dain Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! This has been an exciting period of action! Hahn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dain Jr's head. Trenton Hahn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hahn working some strikes from top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Trenton Hahn showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hahn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
