Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barnie Bradstone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Alpha! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradstone misses with a looping left. Bradstone misses with a hook. Alpha ducked under it nicely. Bradstone lands a body shot.
Bradstone misses with a two punch combination.
Bradstone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bradstone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bradstone misses with a hook. Alpha ducked under it nicely. Alpha avoids the body shot from Bradstone.
Alpha misses with a head kick.
Bradstone listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Alpha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Alpha clinches. Bradstone is looking to break free of the clinch but Alpha has double underhooks. Alpha changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bradstone fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alpha keeps control of Bradstone as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A looping hook to the body misses from Alpha. Bradstone does a little dance to reset his feet. Bradstone throws the left hand but Alpha avoids the punch easily. Alpha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Barnie Bradstone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dog Alpha. No joy there for Bradstone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Alpha moves out of range of the strikes. Alpha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Alpha fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bradstone throws a right hand that Alpha ducks under and follows up with a left that Alpha also avoids with ease. Bradstone misses with a leg kick and Alpha counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Alpha tries to clinch up. Alpha is looking to clinch. Alpha looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Alpha looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Alpha not doing much here.
Alpha is trying to control the action in half guard but Bradstone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bradstone punching from the bottom.
Alpha is trying to control. Bradstone wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bradstone tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alpha is just content to waste time from the top position. Bradstone takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bradstone tries to strike from the bottom.
Alpha's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bradstone throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bradstone tries for a takedown but Alpha circles away easily and Alpha counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bradstone is breathing heavily. Bradstone prevents a takedown attempt there.
Alpha tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Alpha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bradstone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Alpha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alpha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bradstone, pushing him back against the cage. Alpha goes for a takedown attempt but Bradstone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bradstone misses with a takedown attempt so Alpha counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Alpha landing with the ground and pound. Bradstone will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Alpha postures up.
Alpha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Alpha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradstone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Alpha stands up out of Bradstone's guard for a moment - Bradstone manages to land a nice upkick. Bradstone keeping moving, preventing Alpha from controlling successfully. Alpha wants to pass the guard but Bradstone is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dog Alpha dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A jab from Bradstone misses. Alpha blocks a jab. Alpha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Alpha tries for a takedown but Bradstone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bradstone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bradstone throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Alpha won't allow Bradstone to sweep him here. Bradstone trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Alpha slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bradstone looking for a sweep. Not yet Bradstone, not yet. Alpha slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradstone throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Bradstone will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Alpha scores with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bradstone with a poor takedown and Alpha counters with an inside leg kick. Alpha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Alpha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Alpha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bradstone pinned against the cage. Bradstone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Barnie Bradstone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dog Alpha. Alpha gets in close and instigates a clinch. Alpha scores with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradstone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alpha has him pressed against the cage. Alpha has Bradstone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bradstone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Alpha tries for a takedown. No joy.
Alpha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alpha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Alpha wants to stand up but Bradstone is controlling him. Alpha preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Alpha pulls Bradstone in close to prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alpha is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradstone throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Alpha wants to pass the guard but Bradstone is keeping the position. Alpha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bradstone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alpha's guard. Alpha trying to control the position.
Alpha is pulling down on Bradstone's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bradstone won't allow Alpha to sweep him here. Bradstone working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bradstone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bradstone distracts Alpha with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bradstone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Alpha works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bradstone stopping the sweep attempt from Alpha. Alpha is trying to keep Bradstone in close.
Bradstone trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Alpha not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dog Alpha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bradstone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Alpha counters with a shoot takedown. Bradstone fights it but they end up in guard. Alpha looking to pass the guard. Alpha sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Despite being in the dominant position, Dog Alpha just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alpha shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bradstone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Alpha keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bradstone's head. Bradstone has a closed guard, preventing Alpha from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bradstone throws a body kick the misses and Alpha counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Alpha stays in close to Bradstone's body and controls the position. Alpha passes Bradstone's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Alpha content to control rather than advance. Bradstone throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Alpha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bradstone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Alpha looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Barnie Bradstone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bradstone throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bradstone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Barnie Bradstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alpha tries to clinch up. Alpha scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bradstone flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Alpha is thwarting Bradstone's attempts to control the position. Alpha stands up from half guard. Alpha rushes Bradstone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Alpha goes for a takedown attempt but Bradstone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Dog Alpha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Alpha has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
