The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morrison was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Morrison has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jones has passed into side control.
Morrison is not content to let Jones control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morrison smiles and moves away.

Jones rushes Morrison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morrison napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Morrison tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Morrison tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Morrison went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Morrison moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

Morrison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is trying to improve his position.
Morrison is trying to ground and pound but Jones uses the momentary lack of control by Morrison to regain half guard.
Jones wants to improve his position but Morrison is controlling well.

Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Morrison scores with a couple of nice shots.
Morrison drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones tries to kick Morrison off but Morrison keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Morrison tries to stand and escape but Jones is controlling the position.
Morrison looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jones looking for a triangle here. Morrison is fighting it but it looks tight! Jones pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Morrison is tapping out - this one is all over!
