Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kristian Galeos (ranked 2379 p4p, 232 weight class) and Ky Tycoon (ranked 4526 p4p, 345 weight class). Tycoon has chosen Im the champ as his entrance music. Ky Tycoon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galeos throws a looping overhand right but Tycoon ducks down to avoid it.
Galeos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tycoon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tycoon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tycoon is defended easily by Galeos.

Galeos drops Tycoon with a right and a left! Galeos comes rushing in but Tycoon regains his composure and manages to keep Galeos in guard.

Tycoon has his foot on Galeos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Galeos works his way back into a safe position though.

Galeos is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tycoon has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Galeos regains half guard there - taking advantage of Tycoon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Tycoon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Galeos to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Galeos shrugs it off.
Galeos is squirming around, avoiding Tycoon's attempts to control the action.
Tycoon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Galeos haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tycoon shoots in looking for a takedown. Galeos tries to sprawl out of it but Tycoon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Galeos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
