Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Monte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Tyler! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyler looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Monte looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Tyler is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Tyler stops Monte from standing up. Tyler pushing down on Monte's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Tyler is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Monte tries to kick Tyler off but Tyler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tyler sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyler is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Tyler landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Tyler scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tyler controlling the action here. Tyler stands up and beckons Monte to join him on the feet.

Monte knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tyler on the ground. Monte is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monte taking punishment in the form of punches.
Tyler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tyler advances nicely into full mount. Tyler with the ground and pound from mount. Tyler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Monte is in all sorts of trouble here.

Tyler is going olschool here, as he tries to force Monte to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Monte shrugs it off. Tyler working the ground and pound effectively.
Monte's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Monte is looking to get to half guard. Tyler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tyler lands a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monte tries to lock up and control but Tyler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Tyler. Tyler is working for a guillotine from mount but Monte frees his head quite easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Monte is in all sorts of trouble here.

Monte is working hard here to advance position. Tyler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Tyler dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tyler moves into the clinch. Tyler goes for a takedown attempt but Monte pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tyler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jake Tyler has got the better of the ground game so far. Tyler passes Monte's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Monte taking some punishment here, with Tyler in his half guard. Monte wants to control but Tyler is keeping busy.

Tyler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Monte wants to get back to his feet.
Tyler is nestled in close to Monte, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tyler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monte does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Tyler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Monte with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tyler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Tyler trying to control the action but Monte is working from the bottom. Tyler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tyler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tyler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monte does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Monte is trying to stand up here but Tyler is controlling him well. Monte trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Monte wants to get back to full guard. Monte pushes Tyler off looking to stand but Tyler dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Monte tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tyler counters with a nice double leg into side control. Monte won't be happy with that. Tyler landing strikes. Tyler in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monte wants to control but Tyler postures up. Tyler is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Tyler working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Monte being controlled for a moment. Tyler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tyler looking to control but instead Monte has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Tyler is trying to work for a kimura but Monte is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tyler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Monte is looking to escape. Tyler gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Monte darts in trying to clinch and Tyler counters with a takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Tyler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Monte's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Tyler will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tyler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tyler keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Tyler working Monte over with strikes. Tyler looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Monte wants to improve his position but Tyler is controlling well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tyler avoids the head kick by Monte.
Monte tries to clinch and Tyler counters with a single leg into guard. Monte didn't expect that. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyler distracts Monte with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tyler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Tyler trying to control the position from guard on top but Monte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tyler working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Monte looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tyler lands a couple of digs. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tyler's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tyler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tyler scores a takedown into full mount! Monte is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Tyler goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Monte is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Monte wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving. Tyler controlling the position. Tyler throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tyler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Monte doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Monte manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tyler throws a couple of heel strikes.

Monte connects with a couple of short punches. Tyler has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Monte trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Monte has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tyler is proving hard to escape from. Tyler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tyler looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Tyler drops an elbow to the side of Monte's head. Tyler sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Monte sees it coming and defends easily. Monte pushes Tyler off looking to stand but Tyler dives back in and keeps control.
Tyler is looking to take a break and control but Monte is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tyler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tyler performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Monte wants to get back to his feet.
Tyler decides to stand and escape the position. Monte tries to clinch but Tyler moves away and Tyler counters with a single leg into guard. Monte didn't expect that. Mateus Monte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jake Tyler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tyler sitting in guard, not really doing much.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Tyler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tyler winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
