Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Ragozin (ranked 23510 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Kimura (ranked 20361 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitaly Ragozin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Kimura!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ragozin.
Kimura feints the counter takedown.
Ragozin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kimura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ragozin somewhat.
Ragozin wants to clinch.

Ragozin moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kimura drags the fight down to the ground.
Ragozin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ragozin wants to stand but Kimura is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kimura preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ragozin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ragozin wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving.
Kimura wants to sweep but no luck.
Ragozin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ragozin scores with a jab to the body.
Ragozin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitaly Ragozin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kimura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ragozin's waist but Ragozin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kimura off to one side.
Ragozin throws a head kick that misses.

Ragozin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kimura to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kimura seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ragozin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like Kimura might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ragozin wants to sweep but no luck.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ragozin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kimura can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kimura stops Ragozin from standing up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Kimura shoots in and gets a takedown into Ragozin's guard.
Kimura stays in close to Ragozin's body and controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ragozin working for submissions but it's allowed Kimura to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimura shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ragozin is trying to defend but Kimura finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ragozin is looking to get back to full guard here but Kimura has managed to pass to side control instead.
Kimura is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ragozin tries to control but Kimura manages to take his back.
Ragozin can't escape the position.
Kimura not allowing Ragozin to control his hands.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Kimura controlling the positon.
Let's hope that Kimura has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ragozin is in bad spot here.
Ragozin wants to control his opponent's hands but Kimura gets his hands free.
Kimura keeps control of the position easily here as Ragozin tries to buck him off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ragozin rolls, trying to escape but Kimura keeps control of the position.
Kimura controls the action.
Kimura is continuing to stall.

Kimura is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ragozin with him. Ragozin is trying to defend but Kimura has an arm under the chin now! Ragozin grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Michael Kimura!
