Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Zonta (ranked 1156 p4p, 145 weight class) and Deez Nuts (ranked 1657 p4p, 193 weight class). Deez Nuts will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zonta takes a swing at Nuts's ribcage but misses.
Nuts throws an overhand right that lands on Zonta's shoulder, as Zonta tries to avoid the shot.
Nuts is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zonta.
Nuts connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nuts checks a leg kick.
Nuts is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zonta staying out of range there.
Zonta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nuts.
Nuts scores with a body shot.
Zonta looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nuts lands a right hook to the body.
Zonta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nuts moves away.
A jab from Nuts finds it's way through Zonta's defenses.
Nuts looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nuts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nuts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zonta manages to avoid it.
Zonta misses with a shot to the body
and Nuts counters with a stiff right hand.
Zonta throws a body punch but Nuts moves out of range.
Nuts throws a hook but Zonta avoids it easily.
Nuts throws an overhand right that lands on Zonta's shoulder, as Zonta tries to avoid the shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zonta moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nuts is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Zonta jabs Nuts right on the nose. Nuts blinks but takes it well.

Nuts looks to land a left hand but Zonta moved out of range nicely.

Nuts lunges at Zonta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zonta's hand.

Nuts throws an overhand right that lands on Zonta's shoulder, as Zonta tries to avoid the shot.
Nuts waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Zonta.
Zonta swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Nuts lands with a cross.
Nuts bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zonta's head backwards.
Nuts swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Zonta counters by clinching up.

Nuts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zonta takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nuts uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zonta has time to react.
Nice body punch from Nuts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zonta looks to score with a jab to the body but Nuts is just out of range.
Nuts throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nuts just misses with a punch to the body.
Nuts defending well as Zonta loads up on a big left hand.

Nuts tries to keep at a distance but Zonta has taken the fight into the clinch.

Nuts lands a shoulder strike.
Nuts lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Zonta's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zonta is looking to wear down Nuts with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nuts lands a jab to the nose.
A shot to the body from Zonta misses
and Nuts counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zonta keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nuts.
A punch lands to the side of Zonta 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zonta takes a swing at Nuts's ribcage but misses.
Nuts keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zonta throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nuts counters with a stiff right hand.
Nuts has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Nuts jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Zonta drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Nuts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zonta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zonta in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zonta makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Zonta is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nuts has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Zonta is looking to defend but Nuts has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Zonta! Nuts pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Zonta taps out and this one is all over!
