Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akoni Jackson (ranked 664 p4p, 86 weight class) and Blake Westcutt (ranked 1031 p4p, 123 weight class). Westcutt has chosen Nick Nolan - Life of Sin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Westcutt moves into the clinch.
Jackson stalling the fight.

Westcutt is trying to pull guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Westcutt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.

Westcutt has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.
Our spies down at at Underground MMA- Sydney inform us that Westcutt has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Westcutt pushes a forearm under Jackson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
