Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suge Knight (ranked 4453 p4p, 354 weight class) and Carl Johan (ranked 4331 p4p, 348 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knight might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Compton . Suge Knight had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Suge Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Johan! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight has his takedown stuffed and Johan counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Knight has his takedown stuffed and Knight takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A right-left combo lands from Johan.
It looks like Suge Knight has been cut. Knight with a lazy takedown attempt and Johan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suge Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Knight fails with the takedown and Johan counters with a straight right hand. Knight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johan tries to avoid it but Knight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johan to the ground. Johan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Knight has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Dojo in the buildup to the fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. Johan lands on the inside with an uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Knight tries to pull guard but Johan won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Knight is trying to pull guard but Johan has him pressed against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Knight tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johan just stands there and leans against the cage. Knight fails to pull guard.

Johan lands with a short shot to the head. Johan tries a body shot but Knight blocks it.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johan walks away with a smile on his face. Knight gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Knight shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johan counters with a stiff right hand. Knight has a takedown stuffed. Suge Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knight shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Knight showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Knight is working away from the top position though. Knight thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Knight not doing much here.
Knight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Knight thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johan's head. Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Knight lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Knight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. Knight passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Johan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Suge Knight's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Knight shoots for a takedown but Johan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Knight drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Knight is standing up over Johan. Johan looks to escape but Knight dives into side control.
Knight in side control, throwing shots but Johan defends. Knight is looking to take a break and control but Johan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Knight moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johan is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Knight is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Knight can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johan is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Knight looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Knight with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Knight lands a heavy elbow. Johan tries to hold on but Knight postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BOOM! Knight connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Knight looking to finish Johan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Johan! Suge Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight lands with some strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knight lands a big elbow. Knight tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Knight unloading with bombs! Knight scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Knight cracks Johan with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Suge Knight! Suge Knight decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
